As you know we at “Recipes from my travels” are aiming to be one of the biggest names in the hospitality and tourism industry,
Promoting and advertising businesses around the world, our online shop, merchandise and also continuing to write and publish books on the cultural and culinary heritage of towns, cities and countries worldwide.
But we always know where our hearts lie and that’s been and always will be helping others.
I believe in today’s society no child or adult should go hungry, Don’t get me wrong, I think everyone has the right to earn and to be comfortable financially, but unfortunately that is not always the case.
This is why and nothing gives me more pleasure to be asked to collaborate on various projects with Food cycle uk.
Week in week out volunteers help nourish the hungry and lonely in our communities up and down the country with delicious meals using food that would otherwise go to waste.
Their Cook and Collect service is running in towns and cities across the country, where volunteers turn surplus food into wholesome, nutritious meals. Anyone from any walk of life, is welcome, no questions asked.
We at “Rfmt” will help by promoting “Food cycle uk” across all of our social media platforms by bringing awareness to the great work Food cycle do by improving nutrition and reducing hunger by cooking healthy meals for those in need and also
changing attitudes to food by cooking with surplus ingredients and spreading their passion for food and the environment.
“Who knows I might even come out of retirement for an hour or so and get my “pinny” on to help out.

I recently came across the Facebook page “RECIPES FROM MY TRAVELS”, which curates and promotes Greek restaurants, hotels, travel agencies, and other hospitality businesses from around the world. For any Philhellene, this is an essential page to follow as it makes it easy to stay connected to Greek businesses and culture no matter where you are in the world.
