I am raising money for a wonderful family from Sidari, Corfu.
Their son we diagnosed with childhood cancer at just two and a half years old, he has fought through so many treatments.
He now needs expensive drugs to give him the best chance of a cancer free future.

Little Nikolas has grown up in and out of the hospital wards after leaving his home and family in Corfu to fly by medical airplane to Athens with just a few hours notice.
Diagnosed at just 2.5 years old with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma , an aggressive childhood cancer he immediately started chemotherapy. Nearly 3 years of intense cancer treatments have included many dozens of rounds of high strength Chemotherapy and immunotherapy, 2 stem cell transplants , MIBG therapy and a difficult surgery to remove the primary tumor.
Nikos is now ready, after an initial dismal prognosis to continue with maintenance treatments to help prevent this dangerous disease returning.
Stage 4 neuroblastoma has about a 40-60% chance of returning with a very low survival rate. Nikos has been given a chance to take DFMO, a drug that can significantly help keep the cancer away. Unfortunately this will come at a huge unattainable cost of more than 200,00 euros per year, he will take his for 2 years. Initial funding has raised a starting amount but we have a very long way to go.
