“Recipes from my travels” or “Rfmt” was first created in 2019. Originally it was just a Facebook page to showcase some of the dishes I had eaten while I had been on my travels.
Having had to retire at the age of 45 in 2017 as a professional chef, due to a life threatening illness, I decided to create this Facebook/blog while I was in Corfu in 2019, this is why Corfu holds a place close to my heart.
And now as 2024 is upon us, “Rfmt” has gone from just a small
Facebook page with about 40 odd members to a staggering 20,000 followers across all platforms, millions of reaches worldwide and access to over 100,000’s of contacts throughout my own
connections with the hospitality and tourism industry worldwide. Now with this kind of social media presence and support network base in place, I want to take “Rfmt” to the next level and become one
of the biggest names in the hospitality & tourism industry worldwide.
